Eg.: If the booking for the hotel is for Rs.1000 from IRCTC website, and the customer is able to get the booking for Rs.800 directly from the hotel, then IRCTC would return the difference of
(Rs.200 + 10% of the difference Rs.20) Rs. 220 to the customer on verification of proof as
mentioned below.

This offer is only valid for retail rates for exactly the same Hotel, City, completely like to like in terms of

A written proof from the hotel is required as a proof. The written proof can be
(a) Email from the hotel
(b) Hotel website
(c) Scanned copy of the quotation from the hotel

The comparison is only with the hotel directly and not with any other travel agent. For eg if a travel agent is running a X% sales promotion, this offer is not valid.
The Rate Challenge will be valid from 15th Jan to 31st March 2011.
